Re: 1995 K2500 LQ4 swap
I did the LQ4 swap in my 90 SCSB. I used a Holley Terminator X Max for the computer (Throttle by cable) with the 4L80 trans controller. I know a factory computer is cheaper,but why put all that work into something and not use a new harness and computer. I used the stock intake and a different throttle body. I only had to change the fuel pump. The LQ4 uses a return fuel line so no regulator was needed. It was not extremely difficult. Just a lot of work. I bought a speed engineering oil pan (Pro Performance,Mesa AZ). Let me know if there is any other questions you have. I did mine a few years ago, so I might not remember everything.
