why cap off the driver side rear.. do you not want it to vent equally like the passenger side? why not just tie it into the passenger side that will go to the fresh air in take (or after market catch can?) set it up like factory, run it..... tune it, mod it, and then tune it and go from there... if you do a bunch of stuff at once if you should run into a problem, you might be grasping for straws for help as theirs no reference when it ran good...
