Sometimes I think old #10 are a pinch smaller than new. It's a good idea to try #8 first, but I don't know, why does it seem new #8 door sill screws will install where the original screws were #10, the new paint?? Hmmm.
Never mind the #8 and 10 business, other then gr. 5 recessed hex head body bolts with spin washers, I believe..............
The cowl panel and seal mount to the cowl’s top using six
phosphate #2 phillips pan head tap screws with spin washers. The screw threads are #10" x 5/8". Another option may have been phosphate recessed hex head screws with spin washers.
The cowl panel’s top rear mounts to the cowl with four
stainless #2 phillips pan head tap screws and J-nuts. The screw threads are #10 x 1/2". The J-nuts are 1/2" (W) x 5/8" (T) with a 7/16" center hole to edge, and are stamped “P”.
