Yup and I already made the cut and welds with some defection in my result. Last month I did 2 14" or so long sections on the top rail of the bed where a tool box rotted the bed rail. The only other area of rust on the truck. Same issue of no access and the patches came out really nice. Better than expected for a first timer. The hood has obviously stretched a bit to my disappointment. I saw this cool tool on a few youtube vids. A stretching disc. Thought I'd give it a shot. Arrives today from Amazon for 25 bucks. This hood project may not be the most efficient method but I am having fun trying making it work. Slow and steady, and I most of the time get things to come out ok. I knew going in this was going to be a big bite. No time table, and no one to please but myself, helps take away any stress over the project.
