If you have a welder and angle grinder and some Sheetmetal experience.
It should not be that bad of a repair.

I suggest you go to a Pick a Part with a battery-operated Saws-all.

Cut 1 or 2 out and take them home and dissect them,
by drilling out the spotwelds.

I would try to do all the work from the inside of the bed.
And do any body work to the outside before installing the (New) stake pocket.

If you go with Shifty route . I suggest some salt before the grill and pepper after. Pepper will burn on the grill.
