I've never seen an issue between mounting 8-lug wheels, disc or drum. I used to run 15" wagon wheels on a '71 K/20 with disc brakes that I originally bought for a '69 W200 with drum brakes. I sold those wheels to a guy with an F250.

These days for stock look wheels I run 7" Ford Accurides, Ford's last SAE 8-lug steel wheel for trucks. The very latest ones used on Econolines have no nubs for hubcaps, so watch for that
