ok thanks for the help, i decided to check the distributor, low and behold the back to hold downs werent even holding the cap down. I recently took a short trip through some deep mud and figured that some dirty water got up in there. i take the cap off and it was quite dirty and corroded. i cleaned it all up and put the cap back on right and it runs awesome now. thanks for the help guys..
