I'm going to say one needs to do pretty close to what SARBlade did on his.

You need enough of each tube to get the hose on sufficiently so that you can get a clamp solidly on it and get a tight seal. About the same as most radiator necks on late model radiators. Add in enough space between the ends of the filler tubes to have a tad of wiggle room, minimum of 1/4 to 1/2 inch.

THEN you have to figure out how to tighten the clamps and a kid with skinny hands and arms might come in real handy.
