1968 GMC K15 SHORT BOX 4X4 PICKUP
This 1968 GMC K15 Short-Box Pickup. This is a real short box 4WD and was frame-off restored in 2018. This truck is excellent in every way and is a very rare truck to find.
The body is extremely clean and straight. No rust or patches and because it was a lifelong California truck the metal is all original with the exception of the tailgate. Repainted in 2021 paint looks amazing. It was acid dipped before being painted. All of the chrome and stainless is in excellent condition. It looks like a show truck but was made to be driven.
The interior is beautiful. The inside was also painted. Added new carpet, new TMI bucket seats with center console, new door panels, powered windows, old air products A/C, new Retro radio with amp and subs. new steering wheel, new sills, new dash pad, and new digital dash bezel, wipers, heater, and a/c work great. The dash is original and uncut. Just a beautiful clean interior.
Mechanically this truck is rock solid, and everything has been gone through. The 350 V8 was rebuilt with a mild cam and runs excellent. Added sniper EFI. Headers with 3 Inch dual Exhaust and it sound great! This truck also has power steering and power 4-wheel disc brakes. Transmission is the SM 465 with a np205 transfer case. The axles are 3/4 Ton with 3.73 Gears. Rear axle is Corporate 14 Bolt and Front Axle is a Dana 44. It has a nice 4 Inch Lift kit with dual shocks in the front. It is sitting on new Pro Comp Rims and BFG 33 Inch tires. $52,500
