3.08 is what my 69 C10 has had for 55 years. And even then, I wish I had another gear at 70mph and above. And that's with 29" tall tires. Back in the day of "55 saves lives" it was perfect at 60mph.
Engine/trans is a mild 350/TH350.

1969 C10 (not the current one) that I bought in the early 1980s. Paid $1200; sold for $1500 a few years later. Just a hint at the appreciation that was coming.
Retired as a factory automation products salesman.
Worked part-time over the years for an engine builder and a classic car repair shop.
