I just did a 4l80 in my 73 and love it.
But near 5k all in.
$2200 rebuild
$1100 convertor
$1200 controller
$400 driveshaft
Atf x 3 gallons
And it has opened a new can of worms.
As 3k rpm is nearly 90mph, now the brakes are entirely inadequate.
