I'm not 100% sure on how the stock routing was but I ran mine down from the battery and attached it to the outside of the framerail and then through the oval hole (in the framerail) and then attached it to the inside of the framerail straight back and then over to the starter. I used exsisting holes in the framerail and installed rubber insulated aluminum cable clamps & stainless steel hardware. If memory serves me the cable was a total of 40" long, regards Doug
