Seller's description
1963 Chevy C10. Factory short stepside. South Dakota truck is incredibly solid overall, and I had plans on doing a crate 495HP LS3 w/T56 build.
I have come to the realization that I too many projects going on right now, and have decided to sell a couple of vehicles to focus on those.
As mentioned, this truck is SUPER solid. Worst areas are pinhole rust above windshield on inner roof skin (from failed seam sealer, typical of these trucks), and on bottom of dog legs of the "knee knocker" windshield frame. Because of this, I picked up another '63 cab with a PERFECT roof assembly (blue one shown in pics).. Just to be clear.... The exterior roof and windshield frames are SOLID on this '63. Just needs interior patching, which is what the blue cab is for. I'm not going to waste my time taking 1.4 million photos of every inch of this truck. For those of you in the "know" you can tell just by looking at it's outer shell how solid this is. Patina like this is incredibly difficult to find.
Currently, there is no engine or interior in this, but for the $12k, it will come with not only the "parts cab", but a 1966 C30 (Red dump bed in last pic) with only 60K original miles. This truck runs and drives AWESOME. 283 runs like a sewing machine. It was parked 2 years ago due to a failed master cylinder. Has ALL of the mechanical and (nice) interior parts necessary to put the 63 on the road ol' school style... Oh, and as a bonus, the C30 has working hydraulic bed as well as a free and clear Minnesota title.
If you've been looking for a super solid original (patina) paint unmolested truck to do a build on.... this might be it!
