My stepside has 1/8" thick stainless steel for a floor. (in it when I bought it) I plan on putting in a rubber mat over it as it gets slick as ice when wet. I never have to worry about it rusting anyway.
If you want durability, stainless is really tough! This bed floor will be here longer than all of us! LOL
