This’ll work very well with the big block and tall valve covers, and no brake booster for the fitment win.
I like the RS option (it looks so cool!), but early on, I decided not to hassle with it for this build—you know, with that whole Grumpy Toy III look we're going for.
I am starting to build out the heater box, the only OE parts are the fan and motor, wish me luck. And yes, I tested that old 66 date stamped blower motor again and it’s a peach! Using the same crappy foam gaskets (Repops kit that was also used on the Y-duct) that’ll work here also. After gluing I used some gorilla tape also to keep it in place.
