Thinking on it the other night and looking at the locks and the lock cylinders I figured that that might be the answer.
If you are bent on having remote door locks just to have remote door locks You might have to fab a setup that in turn block the movement of the lever that the push button pushes on. As long as you rig something that keeps that lever from moving to actuate the latch the door can't be opened from the outside.
