I've noticed the factory was quite liberal with sealer everywhere they used it on original cars. In our case, more sealer in this particular area certainly wouldn’t have hurt. Our parts car didn’t have much sealer on the A-pillars either. Who knows, with earlier repaints, it may have just been removed by the time it finally got to us.
The left side is ready and I’m finding I don’t care much for the push-pin type of attachment.
