No downtubes are coming from Pypes from what I understand. As Mike indicated it is 2.5" from the headers to the mufflers and then 3" from mufflers back, so connecting to the stock 2.25" should be pretty easy.

Pypes makes their own mufflers. The ones that come with the kit are their quiet flows. He indicated they would be along the lines of a Dynomax as far as sound goes.
