Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to share with the forum of my experience with Smokey Road Rod Shop in LaGrange, Ga.
I bought an aluminum bed floor w/ imitation wood grain back in 2022 which I picked up at the Daytona Beach Turkey Rod Run swap meet to help save on some shipping. I knew I wasn't going to use this for some time because I hadn't even pulled the truck apart for the restoration. So, into storage it went. Well, a few weeks ago I dug out the box and found that there was a slightly defective panel inside, so I reached out to them and explained what was going on. I sent them some pics of the panel, and they told me to send it back and they would make it good. SRRS went even further than that and got me a discount on shipping this panel back because UPS was trying to stab me for $103.00 to ship from Central Fl. to northern part of Georgia. A week later I had the new panel at my door. Rhonda & company was so very helpful in getting this taken care of. She definitely helped restore my faith that there are still good companies out there because I have had my share of the ones who have been acquired by investors and no longer care about the customer. I urge anyone who is in the market for a custom wood style bed to take a look at this company they have the best product and customer service.
