On a stock seat, you can remove the bolt and let it lean back, but if you are short (or anyone who may drive it) then it'll lean back like a recliner. When I did mine, the top of the seat rested on the cab's back wall, never touched the gas tank.
The other bad thing on doing this, the no folding deat is a bit too wide, and it'll rub the arm rest on the doors if they are not both open, and also, there is fabric that covers the hardware and hinge, and it'll tear and look all gheto if you do this without addressing that. I just ripped mine and said screw it, but later I realized how crappy it looked and I was kickin myself for doing it.
