71rat,

I just finished doing this to my 68 fleetside long bed. It wasnt too bad. I used the same instructions that OhioDan recommended. The biggest challange was modifying the s-10 filler tube. Which included reducing it from 2" to 1 1/4" in dia. and routing the filler hose. It took me several cuts and welds to get it right. I used various exhaust reducers that I found at a local swap meet to make it work. It is very slow to fill because of the reduction and the filler hose is nearly flat(no fall to the tank because of the narrow space between the bed and frame). If you can afford it I would go with a aluminum or stainless tank vs. a poly tank. I believe you will get a better fit and the filler tube will work better.
