If you mess with it for a while, you can fit it to where you can get all gears...park through first...all working with no mods. (from what I hear anyways) Then all you need to do is wax/polish the Park RND21 off the lens, and get your own stickers...or paint it on if you are more tallented...or don't care how bad it looks.
Seems many ppl just hook it up to where Drive is Overdrive, 2 is drive, 1 is second...and just live without putting it in first gear manually....really, when was the last time you NEEDED to put it in first and hold it?
