The outlet is press fitted on.
Mine was leaking there and I was able to solder it with a propane torch and 50/50. I replaced the pump but when you do you only get the pump, not the housing. It is also press fitted on though easy to change. I could have ordered one with housing but the availability was unknown.
I would bet you could just get a brass heater hose outlet and solder it on. for the hose connection to the remote tank. Well now that I think about it, maybe not if you are using a small block pump. Not sure if the housing come off of them like the BB.
