There is alot of good info on the ColoradoK5 website on trannys and axles for 4X4,
If you are doing it up to last I would suggest the Danas 60 front 14 bolts/or dana 60 rear.
NP205 is a great transfer case, The 700R4 does not have a great following in the 4X4 world. Most prefer the TH400 for Auto trans or the 465 for the stick trans.
You can find a ton of parts at a Pick and pull yard. I found 2 14 bolts rears in about 10 minutes at the last pick n pull I hit and it was a small one with only about 5 or 6 73-87 model trucks and burbs.
