Well, maybe I did misrepresent a little! It is a 4wd tub on an original 2wd blazer frame, so it has the trailing arms and coils in the rear.

As far as ride, it handles better than any other old truck I've had, but I never put the top on and it does rattle some at speed (I think new window tracks would take care of most of that) As far as the body, it's not perfect, but it looks okay. I have a 2wd Jimmy I am just starting to tear down. It will be alot more radical than the blazer. But given my work schedule, it may NEVER be done!

As far as conversion of a 4wd frame with a 2wd front cossmember, one of the nicest 2wd blazers I've ever seen still has leaf springs. A guy from Metropolis, Il owns it, he built it for his wife. I would take it in a heartbeat!
