I stick a garden hose in there at full blast, let it run until you get a good stream of water running out of the bottom of the truck on BOTH sides. If it is really bad you might have to open the cowl vents and stick your hand in there and fish out the stuff. While you are at it take the hose and rinse out the wheel arches, just shove the hose up in there while it is on. Also make sure that the drain holes are clear, there are 2 on the front fenders and 2 in the doors.
