Something similar also happens on my truck. The coolant temp guage starts out BELOW "COLD" and never (and I mean NEVER) climbs above the Quarter mark. It's a NEW sender too (from Kragens). I think I'm going to order a sender from LMC and try IT. With a 190 t-stat, my truck should at LEAST get to the Half mark.
