Dash removal

Hi there,
I've taken out quite a few. Undo the bolts, take your handy battery operated sawsall and cut if off. Once you get home you can grind all the spotwelds off from the back and spotweld it into your Suburban.
Taking the one out of your Suburban is another story. You will have to purchase a special spotweld drillbit (1/4 or 3/8). Once you take your windshield out and remove all of the goop you can see the spotwelds fairly easy. You will have to drill all of them out. Once you have that done there are two areas (one on each side of the dash) where the metal overlaps. If you do not want to save your old dash use a die grinder. If you want to save it you will have to carefully cut between the sandwiched pieces of metal.
Aint no thing....
Have fun, its a great experience.
