Talking I was wrong about Flowmasters!

Well, for about 8 months, i have had 2.5" exhaust on my truck, with 40 series Flowmasters for mufflers. The system ended at the mufflers, just above and infront of the rear axle, with some 4" long or so turndowns clamped to the muffler's outlet. It wasn't really loud, but had a nice deep rumble. That is why i had been telling people that the 40 seires muffs weren't that obnixious. Me and one of my friends got bored, and decided to take off the turndowns. They were stuck, so we heated them up and yanked them off. I turned over the key, and it sounded completely different. Now, it is more of a deep roar than a quiet rumble. It has alot of reasonance inside the cab when i drive down the highway, and it will almost hurt my ears at 1500 rpm! I love it .
