the peice is giving me trouble its bolted right to the block no shims and the darn

thing spins free. the truck burnt up 5 years ago wiring mostly and my dad being a farmer didnt have enough time to finish it. its an 84 350 dont know if its the original. my dad told me that when he bought it they told him the trans was rebuilt. could it have the wrong fliwheel in it? could the tranny be a 700r4? any help would be very appreciated.
