If I'm thinking right, the buick and the olds use the same motor mount, I know they use the same bell housing. The 5.7L diesel was a glorified 350 Olds. I'd find a early 80's or late 70's 5.7 diesel pickup in 4x4 and rob the tranny and motor mounts out of that, that would solve your problem with the transfer case. the motor mounts would still need some massaging to work right.
