Sorry, gentlemen - I might be blonde, and I might not know a great deal about antiques - however, I do know that the truck I have is not a "find every day" so ... I gave it some thought and checked some prices on vehicles of comparable condition and options, and found that there are very, very few vehicles like this particular truck that are still available on the market. I must thank those people who have cut down and modified a lot of those trucks. That looks great - but from what I've found out - ruins the antique value of a vehicle. For those people who modified vehicles by putting a different chassis under their vehicles or even finding other trucks whose title and vin # they can use to rebuild a favorite style of vehicle, I understand that those trucks are often a nice rebuild, but lose that original antique value. Now, I don't want a price for a vehicle that has been put in a time capsule right off the line - that would be completely ridiculous. I would like to get a FAIR value out of the vehicle. And, no - I didn't consider sentimental value when I priced the truck - my father's image is worth a great deal more - As for what I will do if I don't sell, well - I will park it in the garage and work on it at my own leisure. So - as of this weekend - that surface rust in the pics will be parked in the garage - and I guess I'll start sanding by hand... LOL - need some exercise anyways. HAPPY HALLOWEEN - EVERYONE!

CALL A LOCAL AUTO INSURANCE COMPANY AND FIND OUT IF ANYONE IN
YOUR AREA DOES CLASSIC CAR APPRAISELS, THEN YOU WILL GET MORE
ACCURATE DEFINITION OF IT'S ANTIQUE VALUE, KEEP IN MIND THAT IF
THEY GIVE YOU A PRICE YOU MAY DECIDE TO CHALLENGE IT AND GET A
SECOND APPRAISEL, JUST LIKE IF YOU WERE BUYING A HOUSE, BUT I'LL
ASURE YOU THAT NO ONE, AND I MEAN NO ONE WILL GIVE YOU MORE
THAN WHATEVER THE APPRAISED VALUE IS, PLUS THIS WILL ALSO HELP
YOU WHEN YOU GO TO INSURE IT, BECAUSE IF A TREE DROPPED ON IT
RIGHT NOW, WITHOUT PROOF OF VALUE YOU WILL ONLY GET ABOUT
$800 - $1,200 FOR IT, SORRY, JUST SPEAKING FROM EXPERIANCE, I'VE
GOT $29,500 IN RECEIPTS FOR "GQ" LINKED BELOW IN MY SIGNITURE
AND I HAD TO FIGHT LIKE HELL TO GET $15,000 WORTH OF COVERAGE
IN IT'S PRESENT STATE, AFTER IT IS COMPLETED AND PAINTED THEY
ARE GOING TO BUMP ME UP TO $30,000 AND THAT IS WITH A TOTAL
FRAME OFF, GROUND UP, RESTORATION, HOPE THIS HELPS YOU.
