just a thought , but on a 4X4 I prefer the doors, it is high enough up that you have to crawl over/onto the gate to get at stuff...
in an ideal world I would re-design it so that it has a lift gate (no post in the rear view mirror), and doors on the bottom.

wow i was just thinking of using the top lift and split the doors and make the double bottom part. you will splice the bottom gate and the doors in order for the lift to match the top and the doors maybe 3" in so they match as normal. the body lines are the same so its doable, but i'll save that for another burban project!!! and the latch is right in the middle so it will take some smarts to get it to work...
