I thought of drilling it. I'm just worried about drilling clear through and crud falling into the tank. I'm probably just overthinking it. But if it could happen to anyone it would be me.
Happened to me with my shower yesterday. It had this shampoo/conditioner dispenser thing stuck to the tile. It was old crusty and seriously ugly so I went to pry it off of the tile. It was really stuck so I put some muscle into it and it went flying across the shower and exploded into a million pieces and there was all this shampoo goo all over the tub. So I cleaned up the broken parts and called my painter and pointed at the gooey mess and asked him if he had been spanking the monkey in there.
He got a good laugh out of that one.
