another member suggested mineral spirits as the thinner because the finish comes out much better, so i gave it a shot. also..i havent noticed any "craters" with using the mineral spirits. ill post some pics of my column tonight...i used the same exact process as the interior.

So instead of a reducer you are using mineral spirits? Does that save money cause i know reducer isnt cheap. That red looked AWESOME.
