Three years ago we built a 52 flatbed and sold it to a guy who wanted it as a Christmas present for his wife. She was pretty surprised to get an old truck for Christmas but also a little disappointed.
She wanted an old truck to tool around in all right, just not a flatbed.
So my guy brought it back. He wanted us to make a standard pickup with fenders and running boards and a tailgate and normal bed out of the flatbed.
Man, I loved that flatbed (pic 1, 2 & 3) but the customer is always, mostly right. And so it is...
Not a big deal, it happened. He is happy, she is happy, and she got what she wanted for Christmas 2023, three years later but all is well... So, we are happy too.
