Thank you, i appreciate your answer.
I'm not satisfied yet, I also picked up the overhauled driveshaft today and put everything together.
Did a test drive and I find the differential runs rough.
From 55-60mls it's quiet. I need some advice from you.
What did I do: the Pinion got new bearings and was assembled with a solid spacer and achieved 19in-ibs as pre load and the carrier also got new bearings,
the backlash was set to 0.009 in. I thought the bearing image was okay.
It's an 8.5 10Bolt axle with 2.41:1 locking from 1978.
I would be happy if you could help me with this, thanks.
