i also like to invent and fab stuff and like a clean, simple build, but clean can be complicated as long as it isn't stuff hanging everytwhere.
by using the larger booster you will likely have better brakes. yes, the small boosters work well, they say, but less I'm kinda old school so a larger booster isn't an eyesore to me anyway. if you upgraded I would say go hydroboost. they have a better pedal feel over the vacuum systems, if you ask me. just my 2 cents
