Great score, Doc. Good to keep a good truck in the Family.
That cleaned up nice.
With regard to the inside Mirror Mount: Yours looks like the Economy option. My '68 C/10 Stepside came with the style CKFan shows. My '67 K/10 Suburban had a '72 windshield mount when I bought it. Aftermarket -- bounced at speed. I had a '68 mount as a spare [cannibalized from my Dad's '64 Olds wagon, I think]. So my Sub got the same mount as the Stepside. No more bounce.
I have the adjustable angle mirror mount in my '71 Jimmy. The sight picture to get a view out the back of the liftgate hatch glass, takes some ajdustment. A fixed angle arm works OK in a pickup cab.
