Antenna

Has anyone successfully managed to take an antenna cable apart. Been looking at it for a couple days and can’t find a way to replace cable

You need to find a local Ham shop. CB would have done, but that's archaic now. Get some fresh coax, and have them put a fresh plug on the end.

Lightbulb Re: Antenna

If repairing the original doesn't pan out, this is all available new for around $60.

Re: Antenna

I took mine apart and replaced the cable. You need to pull that strap clamp off and the rubber piece will come off. Then you can see what you need to solder.
