Life changes over the past year

I had rotator cuff surgery a year this past September and I'm not able to lift my arm over about half way. Then I wound with some other problems and it seemed like the rotator cuff was the start of it. Seems like I'm finally on the up side. Being the right shoulder it was real hard for me to type. Hope to be spending a little more time here.

Re: Life changes over the past year

Sorry to hear of your pain and trouble you have been having.

Sounds like you are recovering.

I worked on an assembly line for years and it was rough on my body.

Physical Therapy is good if you are able to do it.

Good to see that you are on the mend and back to posting on the board.

Re: Life changes over the past year

.

Sorry to hear of your troubles...wishing for your continued up-side track.

FYI: I've started using voice recognition on my smart phone to avoid typing and I gotta say, it's pretty amazing how well this stuff works now.

Click into any text box (like this one on this site when posting a reply or a new thread for example) and it will bring up a keyboard. On the keyboard is a little microphone shaped button. Click that and start talking. Your words will be spelled out as you talk right into that text box. When you are done, click the button again to stop the voice to text translation. BANG...no typing.

EDIT: Do the same thing on a PC

In my experience text to talk is so bad as to be useless. You get a garbled mess that takes just as long to go through & fix as if I just typed it out with one finger anyway.
