Factory DFM delete just didn’t have the chip to electronically control the DFM, but the main issues were always the lifters. And unfortunately, DFM deleted trucks still came with the dreaded DFM lifters. So it’s not like buying a factory deleted DFM is the saving grace to these GM trucks.
