WTB: blue driver side seatbelt

Based on what I’m reading needs to be off of a 75-77. I bought a 76 today and it’s missing the seat belt (kind of important piece lol) Chattanooga area can pick up or else would need to be shipped. Thank you - Mike

Do you need the complete drivers side, or just the male, or just the female part?

Re: WTB: blue driver side seatbelt

The 75 is still the 2pt lap belts.
The 76 is only a one year only belt. I call them the 1st style 3pt belts. You will find them on some early 77’s

Thank you for the info : ) That’s correct mine are the dark blue color. Of course the truck I buy is missing the one piece made out of unobtanium 🤦*♂️
The whole thing is actually there, the end of the shoulder belt and clip are just cut off

Can you post a picture of your belt. I maybe able to help you out. Either repair/restore your belts. If not, I have a whole shed full of belts. I do have several of both the blues, 76 belts.
If you notice my signature at the bottom, there are links to the belts I restore. My FB page is more up to date. I tend to not post as much here on the forum. I have a message system on my FB page.

This is what I’m up against. The male end has been cut off. The shoulder harness is present and seems to work ok. Not sure on the female end- I’m going to assume based off of the cut end that it may have gotten stuck and wouldn’t unlatch so someone had to cut it in order to get free. Please do let me k ow what you’ve got, this is the only thing on the truck that is a ‘need’ right away, otherwise it’s pretty nice and complete. Thanks again.

Yeah, it looks like they cut it off at the male latch, but can’t tell how much is still present. And of course I can tell that you need the plastic buckle style and NOT the buckle style I was showing in my pictures in the above post.

I’ll look today and see what I can send you, even if it’s temporary. Yours can most likely be fixed, if you’re interested in having your whole set restored.
In the pictures I’m attaching to this post, these are the buckle and male end that you need. And it’s also an example of the Before & After on a restored set, although these are the 1977 light blue. This is a set that was done for someone.

That would be great. It looks like they cut it off right at the latch. There is more than enough belt left. The passenger and center belts are in great shape. I’ll send you a pm to continue the conversation. Thank you again -Mike
