Hood insulation 68 C10
Did our trucks come with hood insulation? Just curious if my 68 C10 had it in its younger years.
Thanks!

Re: Hood insulation 68 C10
I doubt it. My K20 was just 5 years old when I bought it. There's no indication that it ever had hood insulation. Be interesting to see what others say -- maybe as an option?

Re: Hood insulation 68 C10
I've been thinking about adding some to my 69 C10 for sound insulation more than anything. A buddy of mine used this on a 37 Chevy primarily to protect the paint. https://store.dynamat.com/products/the-hoodliner
Hard to say if it deadened sound any, but I will say it's still looks like new after 5-6 years and hasn't come loose at all. Might need two packs though to do a truck hood. Not cheap!
