There's no difference on a 63-66 frame vs a 67-72 frame as far as shortening is concerned.
I shortened a '68 lwb frame to use under my '64. I had to relocate the rear cab mounts; the radiator/core support mounts, & front frame ends (for the diff shaped earlier model bumper) because of the later frame but the shortening efforts/dimensions were no different.
