Better to part out partial buddy buckets or sell as one unit?
I purchased 3/4 of a set of 66 GMC buddy buckets. For whatever reason the driver's seat was missing. I need to know if I would do better parting out or selling as is? Any advice would be appreciated.

Re: Better to part out partial buddy buckets or sell as one unit?
Hmm. Good question.
I would look for a single seat for a while to try and complete the set. If I couldn’t find one, part out.

Re: Better to part out partial buddy buckets or sell as one unit?
Thanks for the advice. I am sure they aren't worth as much in parts. I have had a few sets of these but never much for parts. I have 2 sets of the International ones now but the seats are totally different. I was hoping they would be the same but no luck. To the right person with a Suburban, I could probably put the IH seats and console on this frame and sell them. That is what is nice on the IH console as it is self supporting and doesn't need a cab to rest against. I will still keep my eyes open for a single seat.

Slosh Tubz makes reproduction buddy bucket seats. Maybe they'd sell you a single seat to complete your set.

Looking for a driver's seat if anyone has one. If not, I will just sell as is

You mention the year 1966 buddy buckets, just curious I would think that was a low bought option .

Re: Better to part out partial buddy buckets or sell as one unit?
I had the seat you are missing but sold it to a board member here. I only sold it because i didn't figure i would see another set of 66 gmc seats. Russ from iowa is who bought it and may still have it. I know he had family issues and hasn't been around much lately. I will see if i can find his board name.
