I must be missing something because I don't see what's funny about Dead Parrot's photos. To be honest, those are actually some of the most accurately representative photos of what it looks like to the eye in a dark rural area. Others photos are cool but they are long exposure shots and not anything like what you see when you walk outside.

You are missing something, it's called a personality.
I thought the guy was being funny by posting a black screen.
Get over it.

Re: Aurora anyone?

I've seen it before in the mountains in Colorado, Alaska and even Northern Japan. They say folks saw it down here in Mississippi, which I never heard of them being this far south before. They are Glorious when you can really see them, especially with out the photogaphry side to see them.

He asked a reasonable question. You made an honest mistake. You can say that without a adding a personal comment.

Yea, your right.
I recently gave up heavy drinking and I'm trying to replace it with lots of coffee.
My apologies hewittca.

Your trucks would indicate otherwise. At least to a truck guy ; )

And BRL, FWIW, the pictures looked like black squares to me at first too.
