Manual Clutch Z-Bar/Bellcrank Assembly Question

I cannot find a decent diagram of the manual clutch assembly for these trucks (SM465).

I've got mine completely disassembled but I'm confused as to how it's supposed to go together.

The frame side makes sense to me. There is the ball and two plastic bushings go on each side of the ball. The ball & bushings then slide into the bellcrank and are secured with a clip. The ball then mounts to the frame bracket.

How is it supposed to mate to the engine mounted stud/ball?

Does the bell crank just directly slide onto the ball? Or is there supposed to be more of the plastic bushings? When disassembling, there wasn't much on the engine side, just the one plastic bushing on the outside, but I don't see how without a clip or anything holding it inside the shaft, that it would just push out with the grease.

Here is a picture of what I've purchased from classicparts.com:

Re: Manual Clutch Z-Bar/Bellcrank Assembly Question

This is the diagram from my Haynes manual. Seems like there is nothing on the engine side but then on the frame side, it shows more parts than what I seem to have. All there was was the 2 plastic bushings and the clip, not sure what those other parts are in the diagram

Hello,

Does this pic help? I took it before disassembly. I can take a better pic in the morning. I just got mine back together last month.

Thanks for pic! That is very useful for the springs, mine was actually missing the smaller spring.

I'm more wondering about the internals of the bellcrank. How did you install the bellbrank yo the engine mounted pivot? Any of the plastic pieces or just directly slide it on?

Re: Manual Clutch Z-Bar/Bellcrank Assembly Question

I'll take a daylight pic after work today. If I remember correctly, I put the little black seals over each pivot ball. They keep the grease in. I only remember one of the little metal caps on the frame side.

The little white plastic bushings look like the bushings that are for the pedal pivots. I need a set of those for my pedals.
