while i worked on the barn this weekend, the wife got bored enough that i actually talked her into washing/patina saucing the 55!

3 coats of sauce, one whole bottle. didn't have the huge cosmetic change that they always show in the pictures, but made a huge change in feel. in the pic below it still needed a post-wipe and did get less shiny thankfully.
it's obviously sealed now though, the rust that velcroed to the microfiber rag the first coat wasn't by the 3rd. makes me feel way better now if the occasional rain happens.
