Re: My Trucks in scale.

Kurt, you are a master builder, down to nailing the weathering.

I am going to cheat and do a real easy replica of my old '71 Custom Camper. Greenlight came out with the yellow & white (close to ochre) truck with slide-in camper. They also made some trucks with aluminum slots. So I'll swap the slots onto the camper truck and all I have to do is repaint the camper graphics in yellow

Re: My Trucks in scale.

I know the feeling. But somehow I got cured. I used to have it really bad. I mean really bad, like something new every week if not more. I haven't bought anything since I don't know when. Maybe I'm saturated . There was a time when I was having truck toys I bought sent to the guy who worked for me's house to lessen the impact from "known purchases" (when I was married). I was always a good day when I'd get home to a package at the door that my wife hadn't seen yet. She just didn't understand these were things I really needed!

I have that one and others. I'm starting to run out of wall space in my bedroom. I guess I'm lucky my wife likes them as wallpaper.

I used to line our bedroom walls . After the kids moved out I took over the biggest bedroom for my collections (see post #21 http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...5&postcount=21), the other bedroom became my Wife's Work office.

I hope to set up a room for displaying the toy trucks one day. A lot of my stuff is just stashed away

It's the indicator of how many cars are in a set #/5 and which car it is in the set 3/# . So if there are 5 cars in a set then they are marked 1-5/5 . If there are 30 cars in the set then they are marked 1-30/30 and so on.
